  • ask for your bank account details or your online account logon details via email or SMS
  • ask you to tell us your password or your PIN
  • contact you using social media sites like Facebook or Twitter to ask for your personal information
  • send you an email or SMS with a link. The only links you will receive from us will be when you are logged onto and using your secure account
  • pass on your information to anyone without your consent, unless the law permits us to do so

Express Plus Child Support mobile app

Express Plus Child Support lets you do most of your Child Support business on your mobile device. It combines many of the functions currently available on your Child Support online account through myGov, including new features, such as a personal diary.

To get started:

The new Express Plus Centrelink mobile app combines all the functions and tools you used on your Express Plus Families, Express Plus Job Seekers, Express Plus Seniors and Express Plus Students mobile apps, along with a new design and additional features.
With Express Plus Centrelink you can:
  • update your contact details
  • update your participation or study details
  • view your online letters
  • view your payments and transaction history
  • capture and upload documents
  • report your employment income
  • view, estimate and update your family income estimate
  • manage your own money, see your available balances and view details about recent transactions on your BasicsCard if you are income managed or use a BasicsCard
Express Plus Centrelink is available for Apple devices with iOS7+ and Android devices with version 4.0+. If you have not downloaded iOS7 or version 4.0, you can continue to use the existing Express Plus mobile apps or your Centrelink online account.
To get started:
  1. create a myGov account and link to Centrelink
  2. download the app
  3. enter your online customer number and password
  4. answer the secret question to set up your 4 digit PIN
  5. accept the Terms and Conditions

Digital Wallet

A Digital Wallet allows you to access your concession cards using your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. To access real time concession entitlements on your Digital Wallet, you need to download the latest version of Express Plus Centrelink and use the side menu.
By swiping vertically, you will be able to display both the front and back of your card. If you have more than 1 concession card, you can swipe horizontally to access the card you need.
If your concession card is no longer active, EXPIRED will appear across the card and will be displayed for 28 days before it’s no longer available through your app. This will give you time to reapply if necessary.
There may be circumstances where you should continue to use your physical card. If your Digital Wallet is not accepted by a concession provider, please contact us with their details by email mobile.app@humanservices.gov.au

Push notification service

We can send messages as push notifications to your Express Plus Centrelink mobile app. These may include reminders to report, or requests for you to provide up to date information or documents.
Where possible, you will be directed to the relevant option or service within the Express Plus Centrelink mobile app to complete your business.
If you are also subscribed to the Electronic Messaging service, you may receive a push notification on your Express Plus mobile app instead of an SMS or email.
You will only receive push notifications from us when connected to the internet.

Subscription

Subscribe to our push notification service and download the latest version of Express Plus Centrelink. If you use an Android device, you will be subscribed to the service as soon as you log in to the app. If you use an Apple device, you will be subscribed once you accept the push notifications offer.
If you do not wish to receive these messages, you will need to access the settings menu on your mobile device and disable push notifications for Express Plus Centrelink. If you own an:
  • iPhone®, iPod touch® or iPad®, go to Settings > Notifications. Select Centrelink from the list and switch Allow Notifications to OFF
  • Android device, go to Settings > Application Manager. Select Centrelink from the list and uncheck the Show notifications box

How to create a myGov account

Soon, myGov will be the only way to access your Centrelink online account. If you don’t already have a myGov account, you can create one by:
  • selecting create a myGov account on the myGov website
  • accepting the terms of use
  • filling in your account details
  • creating a password and 3 secret questions
  • receiving your username

Once you have created your myGov account, link your services so you can access your online accounts through myGov.
If you don’t have a Centrelink online account you can set one up through myGov. You will be asked a number of questions to make sure myGov links to the record that belongs to you. The questions are based on information that you have already given to Centrelink and can include:
  • your Customer Reference Number (CRN) for Centrelink
  • your Medicare card details
  • your Child Support Reference Number (CSRN)
  • your bank account details
  • the date of your last claim or payment, if any

From early 2016, myGov will be the only way you can access your Centrelink online account. Start using myGov now to access your government services online, all in one place.
If you don’t have a Centrelink online account, register today to get started.
You should allow between 5 to 15 minutes to complete the registration process for a Centrelink online account.
You will need a Customer Reference Number (CRN) to do most of your business with your Centrelink online account.

Ameriprise Financial Services, Inc. Program eligibility. Eligibility for recognition is achieved through reaching a household investment level with Ameriprise Financial of $100,000 or more for Ameriprise Achiever Circle, and through maintaining a household investment level with Ameriprise Financial of $500,000 or more for Ameriprise Achiever Circle Elite.
Maintaining your Achiever Circle Elite status. You must maintain an investment level with Ameriprise Financial as defined above to continue to be recognized at, and be eligible for, Achiever Circle Elite level benefits. If your household balance falls below $400,000 and remains below $400,000 for 12 consecutive months you will no longer be recognized at, or be eligible for, Achiever Circle Elite benefits.
Households are defined as the primary household account for an individual, his/her spouse or domestic partner, and any accounts owned for, by or with their unmarried children under the age of 21 who reside at the same address, or any affiliated trustee, custodian, etc. Individuals who have a custodial or trusteed relationship to your primary household group may gain knowledge of your Elite status through Ameriprise Financial statement branding, but will not have access to any of your personal account information. Grantors of trusts should seek advice from their tax advisors to ensure there will be no adverse tax consequences to them as a result of receiving program benefits.
Ameriprise Financial, its affiliates and third parties may use information concerning accounts owned by yourself and your primary household group to determine program eligibility and provide members of the group with paper and/or electronic statements. The types of accounts that may be included are: investment, insurance, annuity and brokerage accounts, including features linked to brokerage accounts; and networked, nonproprietary mutual fund accounts held direct-at-fund. Certain products, such as immediate annuities and deferred annuities in payout, are excluded when determining the asset balance.
Fee waivers associated with this program may have a tax impact — please consult your tax advisor. Other terms and fees may apply based on the benefits and features you select. Read all agreements carefully.
Ameriprise ONE® Financial Account. The Ameriprise ONE Financial Account is a brokerage account with cash management features. Achiever Circle/Achiever Circle Elite member status is not an exemption to the Ameriprise ONE Financial Account maintenance fee. The maintenance fee will be waived as long as you maintain assets with Ameriprise Financial of at least $400,000 for Achiever Circle Elite.
Annual Fee Waiver for Achiever Circle Elite Members:
If you are an Ameriprise Achiever Circle Elite member, the annual fee on a World Elite card will be waived. The Annual Fee may or may not be waived in any year based on factors we may determine from time to time without waiving your Annual Fee in subsequent years. If at any time you are no longer an Achiever Circle Elite member, you will be assessed an Annual Fee of $150. Please see your Cardmember Agreement for more details. Note: If you are an Authorized User for this credit card account you'll need to have the Secure Transaction Code (STC) on hand.

If you need an STC, the Primary Cardmember must sign on and request it using the Manage Authorized User function or call Customer Service at 800-347-4934 for assistance.

Online services

Before you can lodge online, you need to register for online access and create an account. We have online portals for business names, companies, AFS licensees, credit licensees, auditors, and other professional registers.

Note that if you hold multiple responsibilities, you may need a different account for each (e.g. if you are both a company officeholder and an AFS licensee, you will need two separate accounts).

Sign up for Company Alert

You can sign up for 'Company Alert' to receive an alert when a company lodges certain documents or makes changes to their details. You'll receive an email from our automated system when a company tells us about changes.

You can also sign up to receive an alert when ASIC publishes a media release or when there are changes to ASIC policy.

Before you can update your details online, you'll need to have your unique 'key'. This is to protect your identity and ensure that only you, and those you have authorised, can review and change your business details.
Lodging paper forms

Not all forms and documents can be lodged online; visit our 'Forms' page to see the specific lodgement details for each form. Our 'Lodging paper forms' page has more information on how to complete paper forms.

Business name holders can use our online services to manage all aspects of their business name registration. An authorised lodger can submit information on behalf of business name holders and use our online services to update details.

Before you register

In some cases when registering for online access, you will need your unique 'ASIC number'. This number can change depending on what online service you are registering for:

    Company officeholders – You will need your corporate key
    Business name holders - No ASIC number is needed to register an account
    Registered agents – You will need your Agent ID
    AFS licensees – You will need your AFS licence number
    Credit licensees – You will need your credit licence number
    Liquidators – You will need your registered liquidator number
    Auditors – You will need your registered auditor number
    Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Auditors - No ASIC number is needed to register an account
    Financial advisers and authorised representatives - No ASIC number is needed to register an account

You will also need to provide your personal details, including your email address and contact information.
